Here my craving for Fuji X100s start

In this blog post, i just want to write about my craving of Fuji X100s, i never use it though, but hopefully i could get feedback from this post about Fuji X100s and oneday i might buy it.

Since i have my Nikon D5100 i feel happy and proud of it, it was become my best friend in an instant, i bring   it everywhere i go. But it all change last month, after i read Zack Arias blog about Fuji S100s camera. The way he describe the Fuji is so smooth and fun, it hipnotize me...

This is a quote from that blog post :
"...Fuji is the new Leica and the x100s is the greatest camera I’ve ever owned"

And not only the explanation and the story in the blog is so good, but the photo taken with his Fuji is also amazingly great. The color... i love it...  you can also go to his 500px gallery for Fuji X100s gallery.

Chase Jarvis's Dream Photograph

I guess this is what happend if you as good, full of idea, inovation and have high spirit like Chase Jarvis. Samsung call him and ask if he would create his dream photograph and Samsung would pay for the cost. Samsung only requirement is that the image is colorful to prove the color quality on Samsung Premium Monitor Series 9.

Any way, i dont have many word to describe it. All desribed clearly at Chase's blog. To see how awesome it is just watch below video and the final campaign photo...

Magenta, Anesia di Taman Menteng

Masih di event yang sama ketika saya mengambil foto Nabila, yang satu ini dengan model bernama Anesia Aurora. Ketika saya melihat Anesia (Anes) berdiri di dekat dinding rumah kaca, dengan disiram sinar matahari yang terik, saya melihat warna kulitnya yang coklat cantik, saya langsung tahu saya ingin menambahkan 'brightness' dalam foto, jadi langsung saya naikkan 'exposure compensation' (kamera nikon) agar warna kulitnya jadi cantik dan dinding rumah kaca nampak lebih terang.
Ini adalah momen dimana saya dalam sekali lihat langsung terinspirasi dan tahu hasil seperti apa yang saya inginkan (gambaran hasil akhir langsung muncul di kepala).

NB : saya suka sekali warna rambut dan potongannya...

I take her photo on a beauty photo event. That time i saw her standing and posing in the glass house and the sun shine so bright, her skin tone is beautiful, i just know i want to add more brightness to the photo to make her skin look great and give beautiful light to the glass house (and it work as reflector), and her hair is beautiful. This is one of those moment that you just klik and you know right away what you want your photo look like...

Iam not a street photographer, and iam not planning to be, but i do enjoy to bring my camera on the street and take some photo, but when i do go to the street i have issue with my fear and social skill. You can say iam not a social person, iam enjoying to be alone, i think thats why its hard for me to do street photography.

This is why Eric Kim is my inspiration, he is so fearless in the street. His social skill is great, he know how to handle people and communicate with them.

Vintage, Nabila di Taman Menteng

Bulan lalu saya ikut dalam acara photo hunt bareng di Taman Menteng, Jakarta. Acaranya asik, saya bener - bener menikmati foto - foto di acara itu. Foto dibawah adalah salah satu model kesukaan saya di acara tersebut, muka sweet, mata besar dan bibir tebal sexy. Namanya Nabila.
Untuk 'post processing' saya memutuskan untuk mengurangi warna dan bergaya vintage karena bajunya memang agak bergaya vintage.
Selain ini masih ada banyak foto - foto yang belum saya upload, tapi untuk sekarang silahkan menikmati yang ini dulu. Kalau ada kritik dan saran, silahkan langsung di share di komen, dengan senang hati saya terima. Terima Kasih :)

Last month i have a change to join a photo hunt event. It was a good event at Taman Menteng Jakarta, i have so much fun in there. This model is one of my favorite in that event, her name is Nabila. 
For the post processing i decided to do a saturated vintage look because her dress is kindda vintage, i think :) any way, if there is any critique or advice it would be great, help me to improve.
